Compensatory Energy Premium

The Compensatory Energy Premium can cover up to 30% of the extra costs your company has incurred in 2022 compared to 2021, for gas and electricity.

This benefit is meant for businesses that have been particularly affected by the energy crisis. To receive it, your business needs to fulfil a combination of requirements, namely:
- working in one of the relevant activity sectors (dependent or very dependent on energy);
- having an establishment unit in the Brussels Capital Region on 31 December 2021;
- generating at least €50,000 in revenues (for one establishment unit) in 2022;
- having incurred at least €1,667 in extra energy costs in 2022 as opposed to 2021;
