New procedure for applying for a single permit
10 June 2021
Since 1 June, employers who want to hire a non-EU national to work in Belgium for more than 90 days can apply for a single permit via the "Working in Belgium" application.
The application "Working in Belgium", which is the result of a partnership between the federal government and the three regions, simplifies the procedure for employers.
What are the advantages?
- Employers or their representatives simply enter their application for a single permit into this system and the file is then automatically sent to the competent Region.
- They can now also consult the status of their application online and check its progress.
