Single permit application and mandate

This electronic platform is a collaboration between the various competent Regions, the Immigration Office and the NSSO. It provides an online application form, and allows you to track the progress of your application or to complete the file. The decisions taken by the administrations will then be available to you in the one-stop shop.

Are you an employer based in Belgium?

You can use the 'Single Permit one-stop shop' yourself or you can mandate a Belgian service provider to submit permit applications on your behalf.

In the latter case, you and your representative must follow the procedure for a power of attorney.

Are you an employer based outside Belgium?

1. Your company must be registered as a foreign employer in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises. If this is not yet the case, the necessary steps must be taken.
2. You must mandate a Belgian service provider to submit permit applications on your behalf. You and your representative must follow the procedure for a power of attorney.

• Direct access to the "Single Permit - one-stop shop":

• Submitting an application by e-mail or post is still possible after 1 October only if the employer is a natural person or if the employer's representative cannot access the platform for technical reasons.  
• Applications for a B work permit or a work permit of unlimited duration cannot yet be submitted via the platform, and should therefore be submitted by e-mail or by post.
