Director or executive employed by a central office
If the non-European worker is an executive employed by a central office (see article1,14 of the royal decree dated 9 June 1999), the necessity to obtain an authorisation depends on the duration of the work in Belgium.

The executive / director works in Belgium for more than 90 days. Their remuneration exceeds 73.570 euros (for an application sent in 2022) or 78.704 euros (for an application sent in 2023).

You do not need to ask Brussels Economy and Employment for employment authorisation in order to work in Belgium. (automatic exemption by virtue of article 2, 33° of the royal decree dated 9 June 1999). However, you are required to send a completed form to Bruxelles Economie-Emploi (travail.eco@sprb.brussels).
