Employed by a Belgian government department or by an international public-law organisation established in Belgium, and their status is governed by a current treaty or in the frame of a programme approved by this kind of organisation.

The intern will be working in Belgium for maximum 90 days
You do not need to ask Brussels Economy and Employment for employment authorisation in order to work in Belgium. (automatic exemption by virtue of article 2, 21° of the royal decree dated 9 June 1999)
The intern will be working in Belgium for more than 90 days (art. 18/19 van the Royal Decree 09/06/1999)
