Volunteer in the context of the "European Voluntary Service"
In order for a non-EU national to participate in a voluntary service programme in Brussels in the context of the "European Voluntary Service", authorisation must be obtained from Brussels Economy and Employment. The type of authorisation to be requested varies according to the work period in Belgium.

The maximum duration of employment is 12 months, non-renewable.
The volunteer will work in the Brussels-Capital Region for a maximum of 90 days
(In the event of successive employment, previous periods are taken into account in the calculation of the 90 days. If the three months have been exceeded, see single procedure.)
