In 2016, the Brussels Region launched the Good Food strategy. The underlying idea? Develop and support actions for environmentally friendly local food production, valorising local and seasonal products, reducing waste and meat consumption. The goal? Grow into a more autonomous food supply city thanks to the principles of a circular economy.
With "Local&Together", the Brussels-Capital Region is launching a new call for projects to support local business dynamics and strengthen a local commercial network. It aims to set up collective projects led by associations of shopkeepers and other local players in a defined commercial district.
